Delete Your Studr Account & Data
This page explains how to delete your Studr – AI Notetaker account and associated data. It satisfies Google Play and App Store "account deletion" requirements.
Fast path (recommended): You can delete your account directly in the app.
- Open the app.
- Tap the Settings button at the top.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account.
- Follow the on-screen steps to complete deletion.
Alternative: If you cannot access the app, email
support@studr.app with the subject Delete My Account.
What will be deleted
- Account profile (name, email, internal user ID)
- All notes, recordings, transcripts, uploaded documents, and chat history
- In-app preferences and saved settings
- Cloud storage items associated with your account (e.g., files stored for transcription)
What may be retained
- Purchase and tax records required by law (handled by Google Play / App Store and/or our billing provider)
- Minimal server logs and security/audit artifacts for fraud and abuse prevention, stored only as long as necessary
- Backups: deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being purged
Timeline
- In-app deletion: immediate request processing
- Email request acknowledgment: within 2 business days
- Deletion completion: within 30 days of verification (email path only)
- Backup purge window: up to 90 days after deletion
Subscriptions
Deleting your Studr account does not cancel your Google Play or App Store subscription. To stop future charges, cancel via your store account:
